  1. Very glad you’re back in the groove.

  2. Great. I was wondering how quickly you’d get around to this episode, given the recovery time needed after that behemoth of a previous episode, but it seems you’re getting back on a regular schedule with this one, which is wonderful.

Can I presume the Muslim conquests are commencing in the next episode? 🙂

  3. Anyone else find it interesting that Heraclius delivered the Persians one of their most crushing defeats and was the first Roman Emperor to call himself King? Remember that old prophesy from the fall of the Republic: “Only a king can defeat the Parthians…”

  4. Username

In ancient greek (though in medieval) it is not “vasilefs”

Thank you for these episodes, they are very educational and entertaining. As I learn more about “Romania,” I cannot help but notice quite a few similarities between it and the Game of Thrones.
