   Robbin,
   Just discovered the podcast this year. Started from the beginning, and loving it so far. I’m a US Army officer, and just wrote my master’s thesis last year on the Second Crusade, while at our Command and General Staff College. The central conclusion on the crusade’s failure ended up inextricably tied to Byzantine geo-strategic interests, so I can’t wait to catch up to where you’re at right now, and hear your thoughts on the mid-twelfth century! Thanks for your solid work.

  Wow that’s great. The Second Crusade has been a massive turning point for Byzantium that’s been fascinating to cover. I hope I’ve done it justice.
