This title reminds me of the name of one of the battles in the “Silmarillion”: Nirnaeth Arnoediad, “Unnumbered Tears”. That crawled inside my head when I was a little kid and has never quite left, I wot not why.
Thanks for another informative episode! It’s odd to listen to these conflicts with the knowledge of what is about to unfold in the early 7th century.
