We look at the stories of three different Romans who had to deal with their city being sacked. Through their experiences we come to a better understanding of the loss felt by those who lived through the fall of Constantinople in 1204. NOT SUITABLE FOR YOUNG EARS.

I am looking for the episode where a Roman Emperor made some laws because the Jews and Muslims were mocking Christians for having no laws?. Anyone know the episode?.
Can you remember anything else about it?
Wasn’t it Leo the wise?
Leo VI and Leo III both brought out new law codes. So that would make sense. Both Jews and Muslims lived under a set of religious laws which governed the practices of daily life. Whereas Christians deferred to the secular law of their state. So I can imagine Leo VI saying something along those lines. You will need to go back and check the episode.
I think it was Leo III. I seem to remember Robin making mention that the Jews and Muslims precisely follow their structures and mocked Christians for disobeying the ten commandments (ushering in Leo III’s iconoclastic laws).
