An interview with author Sean Munger about his book “Zombies of Byzantium.” The novel is set during the Siege of 717-18 and sees an outbreak of the undead just as Maslama and Leo battle in Constantinople.
Sean is also the man behind the Cry for Byzantium Twitter Feed. There he tells the history of the Byzantine Empire one tweet at a time.

I think Sean meant Kazhdan’s three-volume Oxford _Dictionary_ of Byzantium when he talked about the Oxford History of Byzantium. A great book (like the one-volume Cambridge History of Byzantium).
I love Sean’s work and I occasionally contribute to his amazing blog. Great work guys (Robin and Sean.) Got a link up on the Byzantine Google+ community too, Robin.

Byzantium and Zombies…. it seems to be the perfect blend. I am wondering how church authorities would react on this form of ressurection
